At Powerbase, supporting the communities we serve is a core part of who we are. We believe in taking meaningful action that makes a real difference in people’s lives, especially during times of need. Our recent collaboration with The Salvation Army is one example of how we’re putting this commitment into practice.
Powerbase is proud to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to community wellbeing through a recent donation of more than 200 jackets to The Salvation Army. These jackets are being distributed throughout Christchurch, helping to keep individuals and whānau warm as they navigate the colder months. We are delighted to see the positive impact this contribution is already having, with many recipients expressing genuine appreciation for the added comfort and warmth.

The Salvation Army remains one of New Zealand’s most trusted and effective social service organisations, supporting more than 150,000 families and individuals every year. Across 68 Community Ministries centres, their dedicated teams deliver a comprehensive range of essential services, including foodbanks, social work support, counselling, financial mentoring, youth development, parenting programmes, emergency and social housing, and addiction support. Their work spans both immediate crisis care and long-term development programmes designed to help people overcome hardship, regain stability, and build brighter futures.
Powerbase is honoured to partner with an organisation whose values align so closely with our own, and we look forward to continuing to support initiatives that strengthen our communities across the country.
